House in Nagoya By Suppose Design office
Suppose Design Office created a house in Nagoya, Japan, which features rooms, specially designed for plants.
Built on a small, narrow plot surrounded by other houses, this house features a vibrant garden. To create this garden, Suppose suggested a design featuring a room for plants, a 'garden room' so to speak.
Masahiro Hashimoto of Suppose: 'It was our intention to treat rooms and gardens as equivalent, by creating a design which features garden-like rooms. Objects which would normally decorate a room - such as art, books, and furnishings - would in a way almost be thrust into an exterior space.'
