Raketa By Plato
Interior design firm Raketa was asked to design the interior of Plato, a restaurant located in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
'The key design element of the interior is a vine which softens the sharp geometry of the existing architecture', says Rok Kuhar of Raketa.
The vine's path starts on the ground floor as a handrail, which leads to the first floor. Then, it climbs to the ceiling and spreads around it to serve as the base for lighting elements.
Kuhar: 'The restaurant is located on the first floor where guests can enjoy a view of the city from the open-air terrace.'
